Tiles should always be installed under the refrigerator. My opinion is that they should also be installed under the stove. However, under the cabinets is purely by choice.

The bathroom transformed looks from very old age. How much does it cost to transform an average old looking bathroom in a descent modern one. Also, i think tiles must be there under the cabinets also.

Hi, Carroline and Margaret! Thanks for commenting.
The price to transform a bathroom is completely dependent on the size of the bathroom, whether it’s a shower or tub format, and the tiles you choose to use. If you take a rough sketch with dimensions in to your local remodeler or tile store, they should be able to give you a decent idea of what you’re looking at.

That is surprising! I hardly even recognized that bathroom. Are you sure that was the same bathroom with the white tiles that transformed into that beautiful, kind of Moroccan-inspired shower room? It’s amazing how a few tweaks and a little investment can do to make living- or taking a bath- more pleasant.

was the wrench in the BEFORE picture seriously being used as a faucet knob?!?

Woah! Major transformation. Although the before pic is quite amusing. Did you keep the same idea for the controls of the shower and faucet? That would have been cool! But you gotta make sure it isn’t subject to rusting though. A nice concept for a classy inn.

The bathroom transformation was just flamboyant. How much it will cost for remodeling?? I would like to remodel my home this summer. So any ideas??

The transformation has done quite nicely. I like the color and texture of the tiles. This pattern gives the bathroom an elegant look. Good job J

I’m glad you all liked it! Yes, that is the same bathroom, although I’m afraid the ‘before’ picture didn’t give a very good view. I guess it’s more fun to take good pictures of the transformed area, than good pictures of a terrible bathroom!

P.S. There are more pictures if you follow the link through to the portfolio page!

Yes, I believe they were using that as the actual handle … Pretty humorous, isn’t it?

Wow, the bathroom transformation is certainly hot. The bathroom tiles were changed and the kind of design that was put is very nice. Only a tiny part of the bathroom is seen with the transformation. Perhaps, more of the space can be shown.

Changing the style of bathroom or other part of the house will all depends on the budget of the owner of the house. If there are lots of budget, the better the transformation is. LOL…

Well, it is an amazing transformation. Those who come across this blog will appreciate the portfolio entry. Schumacher tile and stone does good work based on this post. I would love to see more of the appealing craftsmanship that has been done.

Thanks for the great comments, everyone!
If you click through to the actual portfolio page, you can see more pictures. However, the bathroom is quite tiny, so the photographer was only able to get a couple of angle shots before running out of room to stand (and room to photograph)!

Wow I love the transformation and also the materials you used for renovation. Nice pic as well.
