I'm sorry to hear that! I think it is very important to research and get personal recommendations before you have work done in your house - that way you avoid any unpleasant surprises!

Hagerty (or is it Haggerty) did some work for us. His work was sloppy and the end result didn't look good. So I wouldn't recommend him. We ended up having someone come in from out of state to fix his mistake which costs us a bundle.

I can see how an epoxy floor would be very attractive. I don't know how durable they are, however - they may chip or scratch more easily than is reasonable for heavily trafficked areas.

My guess is that they poured the resin on a polished concreate floor. I think that the floor would have to be polished to get an extremely flat look because any bit of dirt under the resing would really standout! Must be a tough job though but the look in the image is great - very contemporary modern and also something unique!

Hi again, Jeff!

Sorry for the delay in answering -- I'm afraid I don't know anything really about epoxy flooring. I've never done it, so I don't know what's involved. I'm sure, though, that any of the gentlemen whose numbers are listed in the post would be willing to answer a few questions on the process.

Thanks!
