This is a conversation I recently had on Twitter with @losingtime, a Twitter Friend of mine.
Me: Hey, anything we can help you with? You have a question about epoxy flooring?
losingtime: when i was house hunting, saw some stylish condo interiors with the kitchen epoxy-fied. looking for someone who does that!
Me: Not sure! Let me get with someone over here who knows about that, and get back with you. Was it tile? We’ve done epoxy grout.
losingtime: it was a swirly combo with sparkles and white and some leaves in it. not tile. embedded cool.
Well, @losingtime, we have some information for you!
Jeanie says:
I can take a stab at that question. The “kitchen epoxy-fied”. Do you mean the floor? There are several companies in town that pour an epoxy floor; they are usually bars, where there is a lot of water on the floor, with a curb almost like a pan on the floor with four sides. I can refer a few people that do it; Epoxy Floors, at 208/375.4952 is a good source. Mark recommends Strictly Expoxy (strictlyepoxy.com), by Chris Lattimer. You can also try Bob Hagerty, someone we at Schumacher have worked with – (208)362-7577. Thanks for the question!

Hi Heidi,
I think I understand the application for this.
Do you know off-hand if it’s an expensive process? Or does it really depend on how complicated you get it?

Hi again, Jeff!
Sorry for the delay in answering — I’m afraid I don’t know anything really about epoxy flooring. I’ve never done it, so I don’t know what’s involved. I’m sure, though, that any of the gentlemen whose numbers are listed in the post would be willing to answer a few questions on the process.
Thanks!

Hi. I read a few of your other posts and wanted to know if you would be interested in exchanging blogroll links?

Hello, Rebecca.
I looked at your site – but I don’t see that you have a blog on your site?
